Amaryllis

The amaryllis flower is given to people as a symbol of recognition for success after struggle. It is said that if you give this flower to an artist, you are encouraging their creativity.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” ~ Pablo Picasso

If you have been through a struggle and need a release, take a creative break.  Creative expression will help you solve problems better and express your feelings when you just can’t find the words.

It’s important to make room for artistic endeavors, no matter what they are is because of the therapeutic benefits. In our world we’ve been conditioned to solve problems using our logical mind, thinking on it, or trying to figure it out, rather than access our creativity, our right side of the brain, which is connected to unlimited possibilities. Engaging in artistic endeavors allows us to use both sides of our brain and we become better problem solvers.

Putting a problem in a visual medium can help a person recognize, express, and process emotions. It’s particularly helpful for those who have trouble putting words to feelings and this is what is necessary to navigate the sometimes troubled waters of emotions.  Artistic practices has proven helpful to those whose suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and many other mental health issues.

I am not a psychotherapist, I’m a clairvoyant medium and a certified relationship coach with a gift of channeling soul readings on canvas.  My business, Make Your Life Come True has a mission of inspiring others to express their uniqueness and creativity with Transformational Art, a combination of creativity and life coaching – a powerful catalyst for change. If change is what you’ve looking for, or just a new perspective on an old problem, see if my Transformational Arts program is for you. Through DreamScape Painting and life coaching skills you can return to your creative innocence and loosen your grip on your perceived reality to open up to new possibilities. In a gentle environment, you will release judgement about yourself and any need for perfection.  If you are one who is open to inner exploration, and creative expression, you will find my Transformational Arts Program immensely fun, and deeply satisfying.

And so as it happened, I was gifted with my first amaryllis plant, in full bloom, from a life long neighbor, as she was preparing to move out of state.  I fell in love with this gorgeous red specimen of flora and it immediately became my favorite flower. Captivated by the sheer beauty of this treasure, I was inspired to paint its portrait, and thus broke the spell of creative inactivity, as a young mother with toddlers, well over 30 years ago.

Let your amazing creativity craft new, different, and better solutions to old problems – whatever your intuition draws you to.

Here’s to your creativity!
