Love Is All There Is, marked the year that I cut the knot, ending a 25 year union. I admit, I wasn’t extracting myself very gracefully, but little did I know, there was a pot of gold waiting for me, at the end of my magical, mystical, inner world tour.
This painting began The Goddess Within Series, that evolved during the year that I separated from my husband. At the time, I had no idea how much information could be conveyed in a painting. Had I understood then, the wisdom contained in the DreamScapes, I might have been able to make more empowered choices that would have served me better, and saved me a lot of time and heartache.
The dream interpretation correlated perfectly with my life, back then, and the transparent layers of watercolor drew me into different dimensions, so I could see my life from a higher perspective. The messages of the dreamtime gave me hope and inspiration when I was slogging through the muck of 3rd dimensional lower energies of fear and scarcity. I was truly experiencing the metaphor of the lotus.
For this flower, life begins at the bottom of a muddy pool, representing the lower fear based energies of fear, lack, depression, despair and powerlessness. It grows steadily toward the light, supported by a flexible stem that relentlessly pushes through the resistance of the heavy mud. The bud emerges from the murky water of the emotional world, exploding into a blossom of enlightenment, joy, empowerment, love and emotional freedom ~ the life that is our birthright to live!
I would like to introduce you to this powerful means of self-discovery and empowerment as told through,
The DreamScape Painting Process
A picture is worth more than a thousand words
A DreamScape painting session is an opportunity to have a conversation with your soul as it weaves a story of your potential, in the language of the dreamtime. DreamScapes are interpreted like nighttime dreams. Your psyche is actively sending you information that can be captured in your painting. Every element in the painting can be interpreted to guide you on your spiritual journey. As your dream is taking shape on canvas, you will receive intuitive impressions that help you develop your intuition and trust it as the guidance it is meant to be.
Enrolling as a student of the DreamScape gives you weekly coaching sessions with your DreamScape paintings serving as an informative guide to develop strategies for moving out of your stuck areas into empowerment.
Here is a partial dream interpretation of this DreamScape and how it applies to her waking life.
The Goddess symbolizes the Divine Feminine Essence within. She is the focal point of the dream and is not quite anatomically correct. She is still aligning with her authentic self in order to step into her new life purpose. She has to align and balance her gender energies in order to truly manifest her desires.
Outstretched arms represent the caregiver role of helping and caring for others.
Left side of the body represents the feminine. Underneath that arm, is a man’s profile with a definitive facial structure. He is smiling, as he gently pushes her into balance, reminding her not to lose her sense of humor.
Right side of the body represents the masculine. Underneath that arm is a woman’s profile. She is hardly visible, indicating how well she’s been leading with her masculine energy, leaving her feminine side to atrophy in the physical.
In waking life, she was told that she was as strong, or stronger than a man, but she was slugging life out as one and she was beginning to crumble. Now, she was going to have to learn to use her feminine side, to get what she wanted, but she had no idea how.
Birds Birds that are flying symbolically represent a connection to higher intelligence in order to bring messages from Spirit. One bird has its beak right at the goddesses throat, pointing to a need for her to find her voice and stand up for herself.
White Wedding Dress A dress in a dream suggests femininity and a white one represents the “newness” of Spirituality. It also relates to a desire for self-discovery, and uniting one’s beliefs with truth.
The colors blue and violet are infused in the dress.
Blue is the color of the 5th throat chakra and governs the ability to communicate and express oneself. It symbolizes the authenticity that your soul speaks. (would relate to a significant blockage in expression, i.e. “creativity denied.”)
The color blue is associated with verbal expression such as teaching and speaking your truth. If you are considering a change in your relationship, the dream of blue may appear. The message is to keep your priorities in order. Highlight what you value most in your life, and you will be guided to the decision that will be aligned with your highest good.
Violet is the color of the 7th Crown Chakra and represents intuitive knowing, connection to one’s spirituality, integration of the whole and our ability to be fully connected to Spirit.
Violet is associated with spirituality, divinity, peace, tranquility and enlightenment. Violet dreams indicate a new beginning that is possible when the soul unites with the body, mind and spirit, and once achieved, the dreamer can access news state of bliss, contentment and ease.
Red is the color of the root chakra, our primitive energy that expresses itself in terms of survival and primal instinct. Keywords action, passion, love, romantic atmosphere; energy, sexuality, anger, warning.
Dreaming of red is about activation. Life-affirming and flowing, red represents life energy, a strong force of vitality that is truly dynamic. In its positive form, red is associated with a zestful approach to life, a sense of exhilaration and excitement.
Orange is the color of the 2nd sacral Chakra and governs our emotions that inform us of our feelings about self, others and life.
Orange is associated with vitality and feelings and indicates an empathic ability to be comfortable in the world of human passions and needs. Orange appears in the dreams of those who are making profound changes in their lives.
Starting on a new path and undertaking a new identity can be overwhelming and take some time. In order to move into a new direction we need to understand how much of our behavior is unconsciously driven. As much as 95%. If we want to have a different experience, we must change our patterns of behavior, but first, we have to become aware of them. A DreamScape promises a portal into your unconscious mind, so obstacles can easily be “painted over” and dissolved.
