The energy of love and money are the same.  If you have a hard time accepting that, consider this quote by Mahatma Gandhi which sums up the Law of Attraction.

Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.

So how does this apply to love and money? Let’s break this down and look at how your beliefs, thoughts and words create your reality through your vibration. Your vibration an invisible field of magnetic attraction which draws everything to you based on what you believe, what you say and how you feel.

For instance: If you have a deep seated belief that money is hard to come by, it will. And if every time you think of money, you think of how little you have and feel badly, you will keep it away. If you then speak the words, “I don’t have enough money,” that is exactly what will continue to happen. Consequently, if you believe that money comes to you easily and frequently, it will.

So, in love, if you have a deep seated belief that love is disappointing and men/women are cruel or crazy, life will be sure to give you more of the same. When you notice how you feel when you think about men/women and the old story starts playing in your head, you can predict exactly what’s about to show up in your world.  Therefore, it’s important to know that there is nothing holding anything away from you except what you believe, think and feel. And how exciting is that, because all you have to do is change your mind, and you will change your world.

Beliefs – all of life is a mirror

Every person, place and thing that we stumble upon, is a reflection of our beliefs about ourselves, others and life.  You may disagree with that statement because someone really may be withholding money, or love, from you, but what if they were doing so as a response to your unconscious beliefs?

If you are think you know your beliefs about love and money, take a moment and answer the following questions:

1.  What messages did you receive about money growing up? Was it hard to come by?

2.  How is your life reflecting your money beliefs? Do you have all the money you want?

3.  What did you experience in love as a child?  What was the message about men/women?

4.  What do your relationships look like today?

Once you can accept what you’ve inherited and taken on as a belief, you can change it as easily as changing your mind.

“It wasn’t until I accepted myself just as I was in this moment, that I was free to change.” ~ Carl Rogers

Thoughts ~ what you say to yourself makes what you want (or don’t want) come true

Changing the things you habitually say to yourself will change your life but the key is to be aware of them.  Most people don’t take the time to learn what’s driving their lives, in the form of their beliefs, and continue to roll through life just letting it happen. It doesn’t have to be that way. Push the pause button, especially when you get triggered, and listen to the voices in your head.  What are you saying to yourself? What messages keep repeating? (In the case of a limiting belief, it’s lying to you)

Words – your command to the Universe

Words are manifested thoughts that vibrate through the air. Form follows thought and the spoken word directs our thoughts into form on this physical plane. It is most important then to watch your words, especially when you are speaking of what you want to manifest. Phrases containing the words like, “If I get this job,” or “I don’t want that to happen,” or “I don’t have the money,” are commands that will not bring you your desire and keep things the way they are. “If” contains a lack of belief and “don’t” is just like saying, “Bring me this thing I don’t want.” The Universe is inclusive and responds to what you focus on. Be careful with your words and only say what you do want, not what you don’t.

Feelings – the catalyst of manifestation

How you feel is the determining factor of what you will attract in your life.  If you predominantly feel good, good things generally come to you. If, on the other hand, you are inclined to have predominantly negative emotions, you will tend to push the good things, like love and money away.  One of the most problematic emotions that is anathema to attracting love and money is resentment.

You may have heard it said that resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. The truth is that resentment, or any negative feeling, even if it is only slight, will keep love or money from coming to you. You’ve got to ask yourself, “Is it worth hanging onto a resentment if it’s keeping my love and abundance away?” I hope you answered “No.”

Action – The fuel of change

There is a difference between action and inspired action. Inspired action is the energy that you take when you align with your authentic self and your intention.  It is easy, effortless, joyful and fun!  You will generate new ideas that will fulfill your desires. The best part is that now you’re a match for what you are wanting to create more of in your life, and the Universe will graciously respond. Congratulations! You’ve just changed your mind!

The key to working with the energy of love and money is to become aware of your beliefs, change your self-talk, and feel good no matter what. Cultivate appreciation for what you do have and I guarantee you will start feeling better immediately. Keep it up and watch your life transform like magic!
